Thank you, thats great advice will look at changing after the second qualifier,
just wondering how much low end power will be gained going from say 8 to 6 and how much economy can be made, obviously weather, temp and type of track can be factors but roughly would it be a major difference.

You have the 7 port which is a good all around motor giving you decent bottom end and an excellant top end. I personally only have stayed with the 3 for my buggy and the 5 for my truggy. If you maximized the motor with the 8 for power you could be just wasting your time if you can't plant the power to the ground. A good rule of thumb is if you can't control it or the rear end is kicking out, drop down in restrictor. One, it'll save fuel and two, it'll make the buggy more stable. Drag racing down the front straight doesn't mean a thing if you can't control it in the in field. Like the saying goes........slow is fast!!!
I normally keep a 5.5 in most my engines for the fuel economy and believe me it's just as fast as anyone down the straight. I honestly can't remember the last time I used anything over a 6.5, haven't needed to.

Thanks for that info it is most helpful, I currently have the restrictor that came fitted in at the moment and it has just done 20 tanks and is loosening upwell now, had it running rather rich so havent seen the full power yet but found the back coming out, was going to up rear diff oil, will come down now in restrictor size as i do want the better economy as was only getting just over 7 mins,

We also hardly run over a 6.5 or 7mm. I recently made some 5.5 and 6mm.

I got to see the new 7 port engine this weekend in action. I was shocked by its performance. Very crisp and smooth power. I will be looking at this engine once it hits the US.

Default 2072 GO Pipe

Hello guys,
I would like to know if anybody had any issue with this pipe. I saw a couple of friends of mine who is suffering with the spring which fix the pipe on the elbow. It's sound like the 3 small springs are so hard it is riping the elbow rolles wall.
I've been using the set 2047 for a long time with no issue.

Does anybody have any comments ?

There was small material issue with first pipes + the springs were too short. You can try to get new one as it's a mfg fault or just fix it by drilling new holes and install longer springs. I did that fix and it's been good since

The web site is up and running except the payment detail which should be finished by tomorrow. But you can contact me now and I'll get one of those motors out ASAP!!!!! Wait till you guys see the performance of these new engines!!! OMG

It was a beast Cody... i was extremly impressed with the engine all weekend. Im not sure if it is the engine or the pipe or just the two together but I can honestly say that it was one of the smoothest engines and fastest i have ever driven.

It was good racing with you guys this past weekend!

Hey guys, Just wanted to post a couple updates.
Talked to the factory last night, and they were apparently waiting for the t-shirts to be printed. Long story short, the shipment is going out "today" (Asia), and should be here ASAP.

That said, I'm officially out of pipes and GX-5R combos, plus a bunch of parts. I believe I have a couple of GX-7s that havent been spoken for, but I'm going to place another factory order this week. The plan for this order will be GX (5 and 7 port) combos, a couple of loose GX engines, pipes, more conrods, complete cylinders, and miscellaneous parts. I'm also going to stock a few more .25s and .28s, since these seem to be popular. I *may* be stocking ceramic bearings soon as well.

I'll be contacting those of you that I havent billed already, either tonight or tomorrow night, so that I can get things out the door as soon as the shipment gets in and everything is accounted for.

whoops.. need to clarify. When I say I'm "out," that means that these engines, combos, and parts are spoken for. In other words, they're reserved for an order that has been placed. Additional orders will go on the first inventory refresh.
