just had another awesome off-road racing with our E-maxx's. Getting them fast does not give you an insurance of winning. have been up-garding some of the parts to make it tough and fast nevertheless i suffered a DNF on my 2nd heat of the mains. guess what, my rear diff cup was damaged. Now i have to get a new one. thinking of the aluminun diff cup. As the truck goes fast with all those monster power i believe up-grading diffs and tranny are to be considered.

Same here, using a Kimbrough Gas Car/Truck Servo Saver. A proline racing servo saver is another good option.

hay everyone, i need to know what shock oil works best in the e-maxx for all-around bashing (jumps, turns, etc.). i redid my shocks and i put tooo light of shock oil in (60 in front, 80 in back ).

considering your using 60 80 and its too light.... i would recomend 90-100 front and back. if thats too light then you have issues... haha. i use 100 front and back in my terra crusher which is a rediculously heavy truck and it works good

i guess it's not too bad. i don't know if the dynamite shocks make a difference or not on how easy it is to bottom it out.

when you say bottom out, you mean like chassis slap right? well how high is it when the chassis first starts to slap against the ground? i mean you dont want suspension that is so stick it cant take the bumps, but you dont want it so soft that it cant take a jump either. actually my brother just rebuilt his stock e-maxx shocks. the factory ones, and he put 50 weight oil in them and it does great. its a good combo of stiffness for jumps and soft for runing on the rough.

i think it's my shock springs. i think im going to try harder springs and see how that works. i got my e-maxx used and it came with dynamite after market shocks with some type of sliver spring (i don't know tension).

Hi guys, having hard time looking for a replacement for my Emaxx diff cup. any body here tried using spool for there rear diff? how is it? how does it differ from the original diff in terms of handling?

Thanks! Nope, the "Silverado Slammer" is true honest-to-God 6x6. Not a "floater" axle, no extra motor. The center diff housing is machined aluminum with an input and an output, so the rear axle drives off the center and the rest of the E-Maxx drivetrain.

sweet!!! are the front blue shock springs a speical preload spring? it looked like the ends where normal but the middle was widden out. lmk. thanks.

The front shock setup looks funny because I've got a pair of Trinity Blue springs pushed together on each stock coil-over shock. That's because behind those is a PowerStroke Bypass shock, which doesn't have a spring. It's hack, but so's spending another $60 on the fancy aluminum coil-overs Pro-Line offered with the bypasses (I'm not one of Pro-Line's biggest fans).

It's half basher, half show truck. I pretty it up but at the same time I try not to spend money just for the sake of spending money on it.
