I have an Emaxx as well..with the 40 series wheels/tires, it is a sweet ride. Mainly run it in the back yard...chasing turkeys and in the street after the neighborhood kids on their bikes/scooters/skateboards...outrun them every time!

Gear Box.

You can change your gearing by changing the pinion and spur, but what I'd like to do is change how big the stepping is between the low and the high gear. I want to have a better top speed on the high gear (Bigger pinion) but keep the low gear ratio the same.

Has any one heard of a diferent set of gears for inside the gear box to achieve this?

I've got a few emaxxes. I have a question for you guys or girls. I just bought bead lock wheels for one of my emaxxes. The hex will not fit on the rim. They say that they are made for tmaxx/emaxx. Can anyone help me out?

hogdaddy77 04-09-2005 07:00 PM

are the hexes on the beadlocks to big or to small..because they may be like the ofna rims I had on my T-maxx a while back...they required an adapter, if that is the case, I can try to find the part # for the adapters...lmk

milenko_76 04-09-2005 09:08 PM

The hexes are about .010 of an inch to large for the hex in the rim. Im just going to sand off .005 per side to get theem to fit. Maybe at work i can mill up some nice aluminum ones. Thanks Hog in advance if you have a part number. Ill get some pics of my maxx up when i get my webpage back up and running.

hogdaddy77 04-09-2005 09:25 PM

no problem..
Ill take it you work with aluminum...well if you get a chance...feel free to mill me some knock offs for the emaxx :)

milenko_76 06-19-2005 11:39 AM

Well i got the hexes to fit. I had to file them down a bit. I can post a few pics of the truck in the next day or so. I havent got around to painting up any of the bodies i have yet.
