For the guy who asked about better steering in his E-Maxx, no one ever really answered, so...........

If you want to get more steering look into a high-end 1/8th Servo. Airtronics servos are all that I ever use. I put a 94358 in an LST, and I was able to run only one servo as opposed to the two that come standard in that truck. The truck turned faster and held better with one good Servo than it did with two medium grade servos. Since the E-Maxx is much lighter than the stock LST you would have no problem running that servo in your Maxx. They are expensive as all heck, but if you want to race you cannot make a better investment than a good racing servo.

Do not worry about the ability to turn the wheels at a standstill. You don't race at a standstill. Worry about when the truck is rolling slowly. Using a servo saver that is too tight will eventually kill the servo. That being said, you should be able to move the wheels some, but not full lock to lock. If you can go lock to lock and you are on a fairly high traction surface, you need to loosen it a little.

I've always known the hot setup for a servo saver in E-Maxxes was a Kimbrough 1/5th Scale Gas Car servo saver. I've had one in my truck for years now and it works perfectly for the application.

Anybody have a suggestion for after-market drive axles? I twisted one clear off and the other rear one is almost gone, even with just the stock motors! RPM?

Default Emaxx Brushless help!

Please help. Running my Emaxx today and suddenly stopped. Steering still works but no throttle. When I turn on the ESC I no longer have beeping. Cannot calibrate transmitter/ESC. Just dead...ESC light amber, accelerate it goes green (no movement) and brake goes red. Seems engine won't respond but also as I no longer get beeps when I turn ESC on what has happened?

Default I hate the gearing in the emaxx

I have a 3906 emaxx with a 1/8 scare single motor 1900kv on 3s for now until i get the rest of the axles i need then 4s. My question is, can i change gearing more than just pinion and spur. From what i can tell all of the emaxx and xmaxx diffs are the same gearing but can you change the ring gear and pinion gear in the diff for better ratios. I just bash around the yard and neighborhood on road and on gravle sometimes cutting through some grass and jumping. Right now im only getting 14mph but thats my trans pionion and spur that are getting changed soon but still dont think its fast enough lol. Are there other truck axles with different ratios that will fit?

just picked up this minty one, came in the mail this a.m. not a whole lot for me to do to get her ready, one size up on pinion or spur (mesh is very loose and motor bottomed out on trans) have some belted terrain crushers and re do the battery plugs (last guy soldiered too hot and the terminals are melted in the connectors) couldn't beat the deal though

Default Novak HV-Maxx setup on e-maxx

I have the old school novak HV-maxx installed on my e-maxx except the fan. I have setup everything correctly but i'm missing 2 screws that mount the fan on the bracket. Please let me know and send a picture of the screws that are included.
