Will do...oh...still haven't heard what that other plug is for that matches the antenna plug?

Is that a pic of the Pro module or normal? Because my internal antenna wire is ALOT longer then the one in that pic. It's 6 inches long from the base of the pivot to the connector on the board.

Sounds like you have one of the updated modules. It's fine if your lead is longer. And that photo is of one of the Original Modules.

ok cool...so where do I route the rest of the wire?

I wanted to know if anyone has had this happen to them also. I recently got a pro series skeptrum for my helios and put the pro series reciever in my touring gas car. I was making some adjustments to the radio and linkage going up and down my street. I found that the further the car went away from me the slower the reaction time to the throttle and steering servo. It wasn't drastic but I could definitley tell the difference from when it was closer to me. I appreciate any info if anyone has any insight to as why this is happening. Thanks.

That still leaves me with about 3 inches of wire...I did the old phone cable coil type trick and that takes up the slack nicely...hope it won't cause any problems. So far it seems fine but I need to test it at the track yet. Hopefully I can get to that this week.

Should be ok. I never coiled mine up or anything, but I can't see a major issue with doing it.

Cool...well the car is being rebuilt at the moment so once that's all done I'll try to get out to the track and do a range test. Probably this weekend. I just had so much extra antenna wire it didn't seem to want to stay in place routing the wire that way. But with it coiled it works out nicely. Hopefully that was the problem.

How easy would it be to get a new case? Mine has had a stripped out screw hole for awhile now.

I have had the same thing happen to me. Where was the car when it started lagging? Mine was off to the right side of me. One thing I thought of is that my spektrum antenna on the TX might have been folded down. I cant test right now because its 20*F outside with 6inches of snow on the ground

Mine started lagging when it was to the right side of me also. My antenna was straight up and down. I never took it too far when it was to the left of me. Let me know what you come up with once the snow stops .

Just got a Spektrum PRO for my M11. Got everything setup and this is wear things went bad. Pressed the button turned on the switch to the esc. Light blinks like it should on the rx. Press the button on the back of the module flipped the switch on the TX and the light on the module blinks once, goes out and then goes solid. Light on the RX continues blinking and will not bind. Any suggestions?

Are you holding down the buttons when you're binding?

Just to reiterate:
Turn the Rx on whilst holding the bind button down. Keep it down. Don't let go!

Turn the Tx on with whatever failsafe settings you're using.

Keep holding the Rx button till the light stops blinking.

I usually turn the whole lot off once more and give it a start. Not sure what procedure you use. Not being patronising.. just being thorough..

Just in case here how I did it:

1. While holding down the bind button the the rx (or with the bing plug in the Micro Rx) turn your car on. The reciever will start blinking fast. One the blinking start you can let go of the bind button.

2. With your transmitter set to the failsafe position (I use center steering and full brakes). Push and hold down the bind button on the module and turn the radio on. Do not let go of the bind button on the module until a link is established (the light will stop blinking on the Rx and Module).

Thats it.
