Default Rules wot ';[]/ rules more like OUTLAW

It has come to pass, that the class rules have gone by the way of the round file as it seems After attending a few events of recent I am appalled by the TOTAL disregard to the rules that were put in place for this class as of three odd years ago, Fair enough to develope your beloved M03/m/l but to cheat you are having yourself's on.
It,s about time we went back to the rules and stop running this OUTLAW B/shit?

Default Mini tyres

Can any one tell me the difference between the Tamiya 60D's, 60D Super grip (treaded) & the M Chassis super grip. Is it a difference in the level of grip and which ones are better for carpet, high grip tracks and low grip tracks.

60D Type A are slick reinforced version
S Grip = radials and is also reinforced = Soft compound
M Grip = radials and is also reinforced = med compound

I would suggest to have a set of S & M with a pair packed out in inserts and a pair of soft foam inserts.

Not to down grade other events but what events have you been going to??
The ones that I have been to are very well run and the rules for mini are very much to the letter. I even make sure that the cars are carefully inspected and even get motors pulled out to make sure pinions and motors are correct. This is what happens mini goes up and down over the years when there is a set of rules that ever one sticks to the class goes well but when we get people letting in all sorts of cars just to get bums on seats the ass fulls out of the class because people get discouraged with the whole thing.

exactly right TJ,
the reason that mini is so much fun is'nt because of big speed,
it's because all the cars are running the same pinion, motor rims etc. to make racing as close as possible and affordable for everyone.
it doesnt matter to me if i do'nt win because it's a lot of fun and damage is nill(so far )

Hi Brad (Minigt) good to see you have got it all sorted.
Hope to see you guys down at the track soon.

Brad actually has real mini's with one being quite popular on the mag scene. Is this painted the same as your real one?

Oh have to take care of this one guys, he is family (my Niece's Husband)

Get out now in this hobby while you can. It normally starts with a mini then after a month or 2 you will be selling your real mini to upgrade to a bigger car to fit all the rc gear. Living proof of that is your uncle brat.

definitly some people think mini is a free for all class. i seen illegal bodies, TC rubbers, TC foams (and some poeple like Tomb wanting to run 4wd). And thats just the exterior, if they do that, who knows whats on the inside...... it doesnt matter if you want points counted or not, as most dont care about points anyway.

as TJ said its very discouraging when you run legal and others run illegal.
