Hi

I am about to build up the engine with the BRB set. I have a few options on crankcase and crank. I have a JP crank with a ceramic bearing and a crank from the FX05 or a modded crank from Jim Hottinger.

What have you found to work well? What about the crank from a MAX POWER engine?

Cheers

I sugest you stay with JP case and 5 port crank, also MAX crank is very good as well. If you can ask someone to chage closing on cranck by 5 degree it will be perfect.

I used both MAX and JP crankcase. I am still using JP crankcase but not Max.

You should find JP 5 port crankshaft ( 8mm internal hole) will be faster. Turbo scoop make very small difference if any

We are restricted to 7mm crankshaft here

Yes Campbell-it is right, but I think Tony is talking about world Kyosho cup and there is IFMAR rulls. so he can use anything in 3 ports.

Congratulation to Axial Racing Team driver Todd Bath with his win at Texas Biggie. His RRR was powered by Palmaris PROFI PR12 and Rocket Science fuel.
