I believe it was Chris Sale. Neither myself or Chris Steele were able to get over for the Kyosho Cup.

Ed

The conrod finally went on BRB set No 26 after 9 1/2 galls. The Piston and Liner is still in perfect nick so I'll change it over and continue running the set.

It was running like a train just before it broke. I'm sure it was the flywheel nut coming loose that caused it and not any real defect in the rod

Cheers

There was a small nick in the piston after closer inspection so I'll bin this set.

Can you tell me what effect the under sleeve shims have?

Cheers

It is basecaly increase transfer and exhaust timings. Every .1 mm rase tmings by about 1.5 degree.
It will eat some bottom power (can be compencated by clutch setting) and defenetly will add some top speed.
