I haven't been near Fresno for years -- Didn't know there was a track over there, and it wasn't me. Does that track have a website?

do you race at showtime? thats what i meant me and DAZLST1 were there over the fourth of july weekend the sat. race wasnt a whole lot of people but there was one dude who had a pimp revo all done up.

we dont have a website yet, several of us racers are getting together to form a club and take the track over and start running it but were still in the starting phase and getting everything set for the switch.

if you want info you can call the hobbytownUSA in fresno and ask for nick kirk he is the race director out at the track or pm me and ill give you my number and give you any info you need.

Nah, I race at the other track across town called Racer's Haven -- But I'll hit you up in a week or so. Can't run my Revo until I get a starter box.

How was the track at Showtime? I haven't been over there for years -- Back then, they didn't even have a MT class.

my lst wasnt running at the time so me and DAZLST1 took our mayhems, for me it was fun but very bumpy the bottom of my buggy looked like it had been through war when i cleaned it up.now for a MT it was perfect another buddy went with us and he had a t-maxx it is a MT track for sure i loved the layout and the elevation changes but to bumpy for 1/8th scale.

havent been to havens track yet ive seen it man i looks tight for MT racing were thinking of taking our MT's to showtime again the first or second week of next month ill pm you when we do maybe we can meet up.

So that's 2.95bHP @ 28,000rpm

I would like to give you guys more information soon about engine performance, but I would like to get the engines on the track to gain some
real info. Some of our team drivers will be testing these engines and I will pass on the info to you guys.

Cheers. Could you tell me if the liner is chrome plated or nickel plated?

.21 engines are already putting out this much so what makes the .30 any better? Is it torque?

Not many competition .21 off road engines produce that kind of power, more like 2.5hp @ 30,000 + rpms. Circuit engines are another kettle of fish. 2.9hp @ 28000 seems pretty decent for a MT engine. That said, there quite a few MT engines reputed to put out well over 3.0hp according to the manufacturers claims. Most times though these figures are quoted at RPMs that simply aren't realistic for real world conditions.

Competition .21 engines are much more expensive than .28 - .30 size MT engines and have power/torque curves that suit lighter machines.

There aint no replacement for displacement!
