i dont own an emaxx, but both my brothers do, and considering they are rc challenged, i do all the work o nthem. they are both bone stock, but extreemly cool trucks. they beat the piss out of theirs while i run with my revo. im considering doing a custom conversion to make my revo electric with an HV-maxx system in it though. not sure if i should though. either that or big block.... very hard choice. haha. but emaxxes are great trucks. yalls look great too. i have noticed that big joe 40 series must be popular for this truck. my brother has badlands

Here ya go. Mechanically it's pretty much stock with the exception of the connectors, radio and servos, steering kit, 3.3 bulkheads and Integy heatsinks with cooling fans for the motors. This is still my favorite bashing vehicle. We're talking about putting a class together to race stock (mostly) E-maxxes.

Can you run regular stock motors on a Emaxx? Do you have to run the motors that come on it?

you could run a regular stocker, but it wouldnt have the power of the titan 20 turns.

OK i tried to run 2 regular stock motors and they burned up in 45 sec. I'm running 2 seven cell packs and motors will not last more than 45 seconds.

wait are they 27 turn motors or 20 turn? because the original titans are 20. if they are 27, then chances are they cant take the power. just stick with the titans. they are great. and if you want more power, check out trinity monster maxx motors

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXWR56&P=7

strap 2 of those in there and it will be great.

The regular motors aren't able to handle the voltage of two 7 cell packs. You're pumping almost 17 volts through motors designed to run on 7.2.
