The track did seem pretty short by US standard and the Picco likes high Rpm. It did seem that you ran for about 16 minutes before the rod gave out: video coverage was not the best...lol...Is there a dedicated spool for the car ? Locked front diff is pretty heavy, slowing down acceleration...Good luck on the next event...

I have a ton RRR parts including a few diff styles of spools I will test to see what will fit ,Tosolini said just jb weld it he said that what some driver's did at 04 ifmar worlds ,I like driving with spool and, I see the newer sedans all ran stock gearing 16/60 21/55 at the race .
or 16/61 21/54 and on my Triple R with r4evo3 rear differential and the r4evo3 shocks, ran the same gearing, when i tested out at the event same setup as my r4 the RRR was just as fast ,me and a buddy are working on getting the r4evo3 full 2spd assembly installed on my Shimo edition RRR.

The V-one-S has a plastic spool, it will probably fit.

That's how you stay in the game forever and ever with a car that picks up value everyday you own it... Stock up on lots of conrods and you'll be set...Pass you later in my Ntc3.2 for which I also have too many parts for....Associated Forever !!! LOL !!! Now let me go win that Megaball....lol...
PS: what fuel were you using ??? Tnr fuels 8% oil for picco's or VP 9% oil ???

VP 16% ok. No spec fuel for the event I guess...You had alot more power in that evo3... I only run 30% (8%-11% oil) in my JL red dot Ntc3...Later....

We ran 30 to 45 mains im my main i was making a little over 5 minutes where some could make 4:30 if my rod would not have pop i would have won the bump up spot ,just on fewer pit stops.

Wow... You will need lots of different rods for all these motors...I stopped at the JL red dot tuned Ab mods with a few rods as backup while I always heat up my motor good before I start it: maybe I'll get a few more tanks on my rods that way...
