Just finished building my kit. Per most of the setup sheets, shocks are fixed in the front and active in the rear. In the rear there appears to be way to much travel. I have the droop set to 22.4. I’m trying to figure out if I measured the droop in the wrong locations, or if I put something together wrong with the rear shocks . I’m using the Aerox tool that I used on my Schumacher

Check the setup sheet again the measurement depends on where you are measuring it. It’s not super clear there but there should be two spots
on the setup sheet.

I only run about 2mm droop over ride height at most in the rear and a bit less up front if my tire and everything else is right.

I measured my droop with the MR33 Droop gauge, but the concept is the same and the numbers should be correct also.

I can give you the corresponding distance from above the axle to the underside of the chassis for comparison.
Make sure you measure the distance between upper side of the axle and underside of the chassis with a caliper, while the car is on 10mm blocks.
My measurements were completely different/wrong when i measured it while the chassis was on the ground. I think the setscrew at the outer mounting point of the anti roll bar was pushing the arm up, while i was measuring the droop that way.

Rear:
- 22.4 (Droop Gauge) -->24,0mm (above Axle)
Front:
- 23,6 (Droop Gauge) --> 25.2mm (above Axle)

The amount of Droop looks and feels completely normal.

Just finish the build, and weight is 483grams, wheel nuts and body clips on.

Made a plate that bolts I to the hub (top of the toe arm) and use a digital clinometer. I have to do each wheel in turn, but it's good enough.

So 12g heavier than the carbon MTC2R. Not a massive difference.

Not sure if yours is the one on FB, but I downloaded that one and it worked great!

Rainy season here so I waited till this past weekend to test the car and even then I only got to run 3 packs before the rain came. I pretty much followed the setup from the manual, not the initial setup sheet and the car felt good. Pretty neutral with a slight oversteer. Car was very reactive to steering input too, a bit too reactive and twitchy for my liking which a fellow racer suggested the servo horn maybe a tad long. Manual suggested 17mm, but showed the 18-20mm adjustable servo horn which I used so may or maynot be the issue. Need to wait for better weather so I have time to actually do some testing instead of rushing to beat the rain clouds.

Does anyone know the least number of motor mount screws (flex) needed for the MTC3? I know on my MI9, it was 2 screws.

Since it has locating pins that'll prevent it from pivoting, you should be able to get away with a single screw.
