Just finished building the MTC3. Much more complex than the MTC2 and theres so many tiny e-clips. A magnifying glass is a must if you eyesight is starting to go.

Instructions is on point except the part where they talk about the shock adjustment. I had to scratch my head a few times to fully understand what they are saying.

Packaging was well organized and the parts are sorted by the steps in the manual so everything you need for that step is right there unlike Awesomatix builds. But this was a double edge sword as well as they told you to soak the orings for the shock right at the beginning of the manual and they included the orings in bag A but they dont start to build the shocks 21 pages later in bag G. I glossed over the oring part since the manual started working on the suspension arms at first, so when it was time to build the shocks I was freaking out thinking they forgot to pack the orings and I couldnt find it anywhere. I had to dig through all the previous baggies to find the clear oring. Good thing i saved all the bags and not throw them out or else I would need to wait for replacement parts.

If you have those shock/multi tool from Hudy or the likes with a pivot ball insert tool it makes the install much easier.

As for the caster, without a caster tool, you could use the 2.5mm wrench and stick it on the pivot ball on the upright and eyeball the caster from the setup station, or use an angle finder similar to the one shown below and eyeball the angle.OR you can stick a digital angle finder on the wrench (provided your wrench is long enough to stick the digital gauge that way).

How's the weight now it? For me that was a performance issue in the stock racing and using bigger batteries.

The weight of the MTC2 was an issue for you with big batteries? It was one of the lightest cars I've ever owned.

It was heavy for me when compared to other cars. Balancing was a challenge at times.

What weight batteries were you using? I had to add some weight to my MTC2 when I had mines.
