Charger is pretty darn nice. Touch screen isn’t perfect but neither is the Muchmore. Bench test impressed. Will have to wait to run my race packs on race day. Good job Toolkit.

running a 6 cell 5000 mah battery set your input to battery and your discharge to recycle then you can discharge up to 30 amps

I’m confused with the normal and recycle discharge. Normal is 40w and recycle is 800w. What’s the difference?

Normal uses the internal resistance built into the charger. Recycle is discharging from a battery on the output side of the charger to a source battery on the input side. This source battery powers the charger in place of a power supply.

Then why not visit some shops and look if they have something you want?

Charging leads can make a difference. They can affect IR readings and can cause the charger to go into CV mode early. Usually more of an issue with charge leads that connect the balance lead to the wrong end of the power lead in order to save money on the balance wire.

Here's an idea....if you don't have something positive and constructive to contribute to the conversation, then don't say anything at all. Anymore insults/unnecessary comments will result in some time off from the site. Thanks.

The TQ wire strain relief charge leads are nice. They protect the area that always seems to breakdown. In the past my charge leads always seems to fail at the charge lead to battery interface. Eventually the balance wire solder or the balance wire always seem to degrade after so many plug and remove cycles.

Roelof can be blunt and a little condescending at times but his suggestions are usually sound.
