FlySky Noble NB4

I saw a FlySky comparison (from them) of the two radios and there was nothing different with CPU, OS, etc. regarding internal changes...only the noted changes aforementioned. Cannot find the link to where I saw it offhand, but will post later.

Between the Pro & NB4+, I think the pricing of the NB4+ makes the Pro more enticing (not saying a "good" or "smart" buy, just "more enticing"). Add for the NB4 vs NB4+ matter, I, personally, don't feel/believe the upgrades are enough to warrant spending that much...especially considering the price of the NB4 has been lowered by almost all sellers. If the NB4 was still at its original MSRP (which was only a $30 difference between it, and the NB4+), then I'd say the NB4+ is the better deal...but, work the NB4 at it's current lowered price, I can't see how anyone could realistically be willing to spend $100 more, just for a (supposedly) slightly brighter screen, a supposedly larger internal 18650 (last I knew, they still hadn't published the capacity of the 'larger' battery), and USB-C.

I was about to jump the fence a few months ago as some of my friends were saying the Pro was so good... but with the rheinard, phends, volkers of the world now on the payroll.... I am making a choice to NOT buy it because I know a major part of the asking price is now going straight to their bank accounts.
I am ok with team drivers of CAR manufacturers providing testing and feedback that will help the CAR become better. We are talking radios here... not the same stuff...
FS had a good shot at taking a good market share with their Prop, based on value for money. I think they blew it...

I don't see how Flysky signing pros is any different than Sanwa, Futaba, Spektrum...
The other thing people forget is that signing pros is supposed to be a net profitable investment (i.e. ROI is positive) -- i.e. drive up sales because everyone says "ooh, XYZ is winning races with that radio, it must be good", and then everyone starts buying the radio. More sales means higher volume which is supposed to already pay for their investment.
I do see a lot more interest in these radios since big-name pros are running them. Personally I don't think the street price of the NB4+ will be any more than $30 than the previous version, and I would argue the improvements they made are worth that. The screen really is way better than the old one.
And yes, I paid full retail for mine.

If they are signing top names then they are sure that their transmitters can compete with the top notch Futaba, Sanwa and KO out there.
For a part such sonsoring will be payed from the sells but this is no start of sponsoring for them, with flying RC's the already do sponsor many pilots. And beside that the sponsoring also comes from their internal marketing budget.

I've been searching around for an answer and stumbled upon this thread.
I am working on a 6x6 crawler build with 6ws. However, I'd like to be able to adjust the % the rear steers compared to the front. Can anyone help me program this? Would be nice to have a 30%, 60% and 100% depending on the situation.

Based on that, I guess you don't plan on ever owning any radios from Futaba, Spektrum, Sanwa/Airtronics, or ANY of the major brands...as they ALL have pro drivers being sponsored (ie. "pro drivers on their payroll") by them. Guess you plan to stick with radios made by Traxxas, Tamiya, and all the cheap no-name Chinese brands. Wish ya the best of luck with that one

Interesting to note that on HobbyKing.com, both the FlySky NB4 Noble and Pro versions indicate ETA: No ETA At This Time. Makes you wonder when\if a new Noble Pro is coming, especially since the price points are so close now.

Finally found the comparison chart. I have to right click on the link and open in new tab to view.

Does anyone know if you can program SW1 or SW2 to D/R 100% with the push of either button? I sometimes run a low D/R and in some instances need 100% quickly. Also, can you change the trigger throw to 80/20 instead of the 50/50?
