New case design. No functional difference, just cleaning up the look a little.
White with a blue pcb.

I feel your pain. I just got done wrenching on and testing 5 motors.

I feel your pain. I just got done wrenching on and testing 5 motors.
my pain is not having time to mess with it. Real life has been very time consuming.

FML I broke the screen on mine. I think I had one of the early versions, the screen protruded from the case and whatever I dropped on the desk must have got it.

Anyways the new cases look more robust is it worth sending back to you or what should I do.

The screens are not too expensive if you want to pick one up. But yes, you can send it back to me and I will put it in a new case and replace the screen and re calibrate, which I have to do with the new case.

Pardon my ignorance - what’s the objective of using this? It tells you the condition of the rotor? If so, then in theory the tester is most useful if you can benchmark “before” results when motors/rotors are new as well as paying attention to “after” or “during” results during racing season?

You can monitor the rotor if it is losing magnetism. And stock racers who are limited in gaining performance on a motor like to buy 10 motors and select the best parts of them for making the fastest motor.

Thanks for your reply. So does that mean this serves a totally separate purpose from a motor analyzer and perhaps can be used in addition if a racer wants to have all the motor information possible?
