My opinion is bumpy non permanent carpet tracks. The type that get rolled out on gym floors for example.
Also can benefit a car that chatters the front in corners from low traction. (though tuning adjustments are a better choice)

Gains seen on low/med bite bumpy tracks, not much benefit on high bite smooth tracks.
Worth having in the pit box though. Quick easy trial and error tool.

I am having this issue as well and I still haven't found a good solution. I basically added a long M3 screw with spacers on the steering arm as a stopper but i am sure the extra weight is not helping my handling. I was running GT12 at my local track and we use USGT motors and fixed gearing. been having a tough time getting the weight down to 720. switched to the CF chassis, U7936 Titanium King Pins, and U7937 Titanium Front Axle and I'm still over weight.

I drilled the lower arm and used U7938 chassis posts as stoppers on my Eclipse 4. I can't figure out why this is not an issue with my Eclipse 3.

We run USGT motors and SJT rubber tires. I'm currently at 756 grams. Here is what I have done to save weight to my E4:
- C/F chassis
- All titanium screws, kingpins & axles
- GensAce Redline Battery w/ 4mm plugs
- 18-gauge wire
- Core RC C/F spool
- Sanwa servo
- Montech Akura body w/ light paint
- CRC front & rear body mounts

Sanwa servo, small esc, and 16 gauge wire is a must.

Some of the batteries are 5 grams or so lighter as well but that isn't a make or break.

If you use good screws it will enable you to place some ballast and dial in the balance. I would go overweight anyway just to get perfect LR balance. Makes checking tweak a no brainer.

Do either of you have a GT12 setup sheet to share? Always looking for setup advice.

IIRC I saved 10 grams going from 16ga wire to 18ga.

Good call out on the ESC bmwjoon . I use a HW Pro Stock 1S.

Mantoya I'll upload a setup sheet tomorrow.

I used Jesse Anderson's set-up as my base.

Here are the differences:
Body: Montech Akura
LiPo: GensAce Redline 8000 1S w/4mm bullets
Motor: USGT
Spur Gear: RW Racing 63T
Pinion: Arrowmax Super Lightweight 63T

SJT Sauce Time: 2 mins: ¼" from inside for fronts / full for rears
Sauce: SXT Lite
Sidewall Glue: I glue the fronts because our track has really high grip

Front Ride Height = 3mm
Caster: Depending on track layout (tight, open or mixed) I can go from 3-5°. Currently at 5° for a mixed layout with only 2 tight corners.
Droop spacers: 1
Toe: +0.5°
Inside wheel lock: 20° - got this tip from John Barron II on the FB

Rear Ride Height = 3.5mm
Rear Axle = Spool

Post back here to let us know if it works for you.
