The cooling holes under the exhaust, 3 weight inserts and even a groove in the upper lip of the sleeve. I would say Novarossi is copied very well.....

Roelof, I guess now that the old Nova is no more, and as such I am not sure who now has the rights to patent / design / copyright etc. I am sure they will try more of the Novarossi "black magic" lol

Hi Roelof, may I know whats the difference between 3 weights vs 2 weights on the crankshaft?

To give you a reason to buy the new one with the 3 weights because the older with 2 weight is not fast anymore.

The weights are basically for balancing, maybe in the hands of a very good driver he can notice the difference, for the most there is no difference. On paper it is even a bad idea because it is more rotating mass

If I wasn't going get another Shimo II, the Euro Spec II would have been my choice just because of the crankshaft.

Just purchased a euro 2 from Rcxx the website/store is in Switzerland-I purchased the last one and it was on sale for 50%off at 268+37 dollars shipping and it all came out to 305 bucks that’s a great deal in my book any way you slice it…I’m just debating if I want to send it do Rick brake or Uriah murnan for a drag mod like I do to 90%of my engines since I run a lot of 132ft drag racing…if anyone has any experience with the euro 2 chime in and let me know what you think..I hope the break in goes smooth with no scored piston..but with it being 7 port and having the 2 lubrication holes u see the exhaust port I hope it’s easier on the piston for break in

What’s the best pipe set up for this motor for top end…is it just the 2098 with the short header or has anyone noticed anything better than the above set up

If you can find a 2052 pipe. It's a beast on top end. It's a nova pipe though. It's a gas hog for onroad so for drag probably wouldn't bother you. I have a used spare sitting on the shelf if interested.

To keep on topic, any point in upgrading from 2103 or Euro 1 to Euro 2? If the crank weights are the only major change, I think I will just rebuild my older engines.

Heading to winter Nats tomorrow for some great racing! Hope it warms up a bit! Not used to freezing weather in Florida.
