Has anyone figured out a 23t servo horn? Why Tekno would release a special 25t for the EB410, but not a 23t is beyond me. They normally have us covered on accessories available.

I used Losi 8 buggy/truggy steering servo horns on both my EB410.2 and ET410.2. The truck has a full height servo and the buggy a low profile servo.

The horn itself is plastic but has metal inserts (including 23 tooth spline) to match the horn to the servo. Trying to buy them as a Losi packaged part is ridiculous because they always come in a package with a bunch of stuff you don't want, so I get them of eBay. The seller rc-waffle sells these pretty cheap. Here's a listing with the horn, various spline inserts and rod ends for $3.25 plus shipping:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/363690904521

That seller usually has multiples of these listed with slightly varying descriptions and he heavily discounts combined shipping so I would always try to buy a couple at a time. I use them where ever they can be fitted, including on my oval Mudboss cars because they are so strong.

Thank you! I'll go look into that now. I roached my only 25t servo, first day out this past weekend and had to settle on a cheap Savox. I'd much rather run a Spektrum 6240 if I can.

If Tebo is still running KO servos, check what he’s got on, as they are 23T. KO do an awesome alloy and CF horn which seems really solid in my other 4wd buggy.

I have my EB410.2 assembled - looks awesome! How does this setup look? It’s more than I thought I would be spending, am I overspending? Typical off-road race has 5 minute heats by me. Is a 5.5 turn motor overkill, would a 6 or 6.5 be better? Are these high-end ESC’s required? Are the servos rebuildable? Thanks! My last serious racer was an RC10 GT and a Novarossi .12, this is all a bit new to me!

I run hobbywing xr10 pro in mine and 6.5t with gens ace red line batteries and it's insanely fast.

Nice build! Are you using the included servo horn from Protek?

I don't know their answer, but my kid runs one on his ET. I was going to find one because the inner hole has a shorter throw which can make the steering a little easier.

I had that extra protek servo horn that's on there so I used it.

How did you get the ride height so low?

Hello, the low frequency springs will get you where you need to be right height wise. They provide a lot more grip but I only recommend them for clay tracks mostly outdoor. I could not comment on their use for carpet or Astro. I use the green front and the pink rear or the pink front and the pink rear with 30 or 27.5 in the front and 25 or 20 in the rear with the stock Pistons I race on an outdoor clay track with lots of big jumps in the car is very in the track and plush. I did put team Thornhill red bump stops in the rear to keep the chassis from slapping so hard if I don't land the jumps right and they work incredibly well.

Thank you so much, I'll try that out! I race on carpet and wanted a challenge to try and make an eb410.2 work for that surface. I can tell it has potential I just have ride height and roll center modifications potentially.

Just wanted to clarify, are you using the Tekno 70mm low frequency (TKR6113) spring in the rear shock?
