Default BMW M4

Has anyone heard any rumblings about a BMW M4 GT3 body coming in the near future?

A new M4 body would be awesome.

Side note can someone point me to where some info is on the USGT tires. I ran my car Saturday and found basically when I sauced my tires the car was very balanced and easy to drive to when I tried less “saucing” a car that was very loose and unstable. I don’t think I’ve ever driven a tire where the balance change was so dramatic before.

I sauce the entire contact patch of the rear and like an 1/8" of the inside of the front.

Default Traction Roll

I have not ran USGT as yet. Just building a car for it now.
I have a question. Do any drivers suffer from traction roll with these USGT tires we are required to use?
Just wondered what amount of grip to expect.

Regards

On black carpet you will want to glue the sidewalls. Grip is good on black carpet.

Right ok. Thanks for the heads up. Do you end up glueing the sidewalls on front and rear tires?

they started out with the tt02 bone stock, then we could put the rubber tires on and a bearing kit. Haven't reached the class yet oh, now I'm reading how the real usgt guys do it. Is there anywhere in Michigan that runs this class? Thanks guys and gals! Mess

Traction roll is possible depending on surface, tire prep etc.. Very complicated question to answer

Any tire on any car can traction roll. So with wrong setup, yes it will. With correct setup, car can be dialed. Once your car is built and you are struggling, post up the setup here and I am sure everyone will be more than happy to help get you dialed in. But as others said, you have to glue the sidewalls of the tire on black carpet for sure.

I glued my fronts all the way up the sidewall to the crest. On black carpet it only rolled 1-2 times and only if I heaved it into a hairpin with too much energy and steering input.
