USGT
Totally agree Trigger, also the realistic looking offset wheels are 26 mm instead of 24. I tried them on my Takata NSX a few years back for concourse reasoning and the tires do NOT like to be spread out. Tires were designed for 24mm wheels Spreading them out to 26mm sucks up the center and presses the inner and outer portions of the tire. Also messes up sidewall height. Might work on black carpet but not asphalt. At least that was my experience. The photo a couple of posts back appears to be exhibiting the side wall condition I’m speaking of.

I think I will be running the Bwoah next as well... But a quick note, those wings need to be cut down.
Just wondering if anyone knows what A700's go for these days. I got 2 with a ton of new spares and extras diffs / alloy chassis etc... I was racing a while back in USGT and VTA and they are both still set up from the last race I was at. I have been holding onto them thinking a comeback might happen, but who knows if/when that is going to happen. Depending on what you guys think the range is I might list them.

For those interested, there will be a F1 and GT series in the midwest. Different format, short qualifying period and multiple longer mains with pit stops.
Info is here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/916839475635289
Thanks

That was a fun time. I have just been laying low and nothing really exciting to report... My wife keeps bugging me to sell stuff I don't use anymore so here I am. Maybe I should just tell her I am gonna go racing again.
Look at the MST race series 24mm wheels. I have been using them for a couple years. 0 offset 24mm. Come in mesh and 18 spoke. Super strong, never broken one yet. Sweet colors available. They even have lug stud holes and a tiny valve stem. By far the best wheels i have found looks and durability wise. I know its a drift car company, but these 24mm wheels are solid!
[QUOTE=Xrayray;15865360]So I had a set of yellow Tamiya mesh wheels +2 offset.
any source for the white mesh with 0 offset? Looks better than the Gravity mesh wheels.
Forgot to say its the medium narrow 24mm[/QUOTE

As much as I would like to trust my fellow racer to do the right thing, the cynical side of me tend to question the validity of the foam insert and wheel offsets when I see non pre-mounted USGT wheel/tires. I only mention this cause of seen racers abuse the rules and use other than specified inserts. Just sayin.
