I’ve never gotten the 418/419 arms to work well. I haven’t had a chance to try the 420 suspension yet. That might change things. But I really like the 417 arms still

Your primarily want the 53926 hard versions right? I’ll check when I’m home

Default Sorry to ask a painful question

I'm looking for a basic black carpet setup for 419x with suspension upgrade. Nothing else has been upgraded beside progressive 2.5-2.8 front and 2.6 rear. Springs any info would be great.

You better find an aluminum chassis if you haven’t yet. I’d try to copy an Xray T4 2017-2019 set up. Should get you in the ball park

Hey guys

Does anybody know of an alternative centre pulley that will fit my 419xr?

Its basically impossible to get the 2 halves in the UK.

Will the 420 part fit?

13454936

And

13454938

Prior to installing the 420 pulleys on my TA08, I test fitted them to 419. It can be made to work but will require different size bearings and spacers as it’s more compact than the 419.

I didn’t have the right size bearings so I didn’t go further.

Ah that's a shame.

Did you test on an original 419 or an XR?

The XR has got a different centre shaft and bearings but uses the same pulleys.

Will try it this afternoon and let you know
Just fitted the TA-08 Pro parts on my 419XR.
With the correct bearings and some shimming it will fit perfectly

Brilliant, can you let me know the bearings you required? If I can fit the 08 pro parts that will be fine, anything will be better than my chewed up 419 pulleys!

Brill.

So I need the bearings from a 420 centre pulley, and the pulleys from a ta08 pro?
