What lexan bodies fit the NT.3? And where can I get them?

Were can I find setups for this car? The only ones I can find at petitrc are from ‘07. I have a NT1.2 Are you guys just running box setup?

I’m new to nitro other than a R2R HPI I had like 15 years ago. What is a good nitro motor? Is the Novarossi ISON a good one for beginners or are the MOTOs and Mephestos really that much better? Thanks

Xray website has all the setup sheets you’ll need. But baseline box setup is more than adequate for most tracks. Tires are gonna be more important. All the nova and OS motors are good for beginners. Break it in right, always run a clean filter and always warm it up before running it and even a $200 motor will last you ALOT of gallons.

I'm in the process of building my NT1.3 now and I have a question. What is the benefit to running the graphite diff gears vs the metal gears? I would think less rotating mass and a lighter drive train but is there anything else?

Been told that plastic gears cant handle the forces for the back diff but works fine for the front diff.
Plastic gears runs much norr smooth then metal.

I used to run with metal gears when i was driving nt1. Works great!

What are good servos for this car? I have a lot of Savoxs and I have been happy with them. I have been running the Savox SB-2263MG in my electric TCs. Do I need or want low profiles for this car? Also is a faster or higher torque better for nitro?
Thanks in advance!

Plug on the side of the receiver box. No switch. They fail too often.

Just realized the last post was back in January of ‘21 unless there’s a new thread i missed. Lol. Is the NT1 a dying bread. Lol. Hope not. Any news on the ‘22 NT1, I’m overdue on a update or revamp. Lol.

Back into it after many years, last I ran was the original NT1 around 2006-07. I can see the .3 was released in 2020. Is the NT1 done, should I possibly go to another brand? Hope not I loved my nt1 back in the day.

There was a NT1'21 release. Also a new Rx8 and GTX just dropped. I am guessing an NT1 will follow.

-edit: March 8th Juraj posted on Facebook New RX8 and NT1 are coming.

2023 NT1 ……in my opinion is the best car you can buy at the moment I’m not a sponsored driver anymore , so I look at all cars on the track with a non bias eye!

I just attended the WinterNats in Florida , All cars were there hand full of every brand , all looking superb……. But 1 stood out Marvin morris XRAY NT1 was best car at the event……. N to be honest my car had to be pretty high up there also! Car just works , topped with XRAY quality ……. They got the 23’ right! Best NT1 to date by far
