Love the looks, but haven't driven it with this body yet...

Picked up a T4'2019 for USGT. A new car means a new body so here's a Bitty Seven20 done up in Planex Smacam 720S livery. I had to mix the orange and the lighter blue shades as I only have a primary set of colors. Only a few stickers on this one. I probably should have painted the front spoiler white instead of black for better visibility.

I'm noticing the wingtips on your Bitty Seven20 are extended down below the base of the foil. Did you do that custom, or was your wing delivered different than mine?

The wingtips are usually glued onto the wing. The pieces are usually in the wheel cutouts for the body. They are molded in rectangles I usually see them in the rear wheel cutout.

Trying to decide between mon-tech rs or bitty body seven20. What are the handling characteristics of each body? Thanks

Bittydesign seven20 works really good, downside is it’s very fragile, it’s cracks right away

I've still yet to drive mine, but I heard about this issue, so I backed the inside of the body with Gorilla Tape Clear to provide extra support. Works on my other bodies.

Argh. I have one on the way. I was hoping it was going to be stronger than the Bitty Agata body because that cracked after I sneezed too close to it.

So - is USGT OK? In NorCal 21.5 TC is taking off, and USGT is dropping off. Last club race was the 1st time I've ever seen no USGT class, yet we had B mains for 21.5.

As a long time fan of USGT I'm concerned.

sadly I’ve noticed the same thing as of late. There are 2 of us that wont be running the class next season.

side note, why Norcal doesn’t post results on LiveRC anymore? And all the results are gone on their new website.

I still have my fwd setup for USGT just to have fun.

I think that’s my plan also. I’ll keep my FWD if the urge pops up to run something fun. (Still wish we’d update the body list)

This is only my opinion but, the bodies got out of control and I think a lot of people got tired of the tires being different every run.

all the club racing round here is using that USGT motor for stock TC. I can run the same set of tires till I decide that’s enough, and I’m on the same twister body since June..

I'm afraid that may happen here. After the first of the year we are going to the spec usgt motor and 21.5 TC will be a new class to replace 17.5 TC. Not sure folks will want to buy a new motor for gt when they can buy a body and tires instead.

That is exactly what I think is going to happen at our track in Calif. You take your 21.5t motor you ran with in USGT and you move over to 21.5t TC. Change the tires and body and you're good to go. Then we have a class called Legends so you change your tires and body again and your good to go once again. Interesting. Good point Tomcat.
