Thanks for the reply. My settings are pretty much the same. I'm still not sure what the problem is. I'm going to turn on some lights, maybe it needs more light.

Either im doing somthing wrong or i just plain suck at switch back tracks. Always have in 10th and still in this scale. The best lap i clicked off on my 3500kv aaa car is a 4.39 .mod car i did a 4.59 lap. Car isnt flipping its just that my cars are set for more of a sweeping corner not a dive in beake and go style. 1 switch back is fine but 3 or 4 back to back kill me cause i cant get a rhythm. The chicane is fine with me its them damn 180s.

At first I REALLY didn’t like this layout, but after a few runs I started to get the hang of it. Glad to see you back in it. Keep running!

Meridith was out of 51t spurs so I have to run 19.5's in the back for a little extra clearance till I get a 51t spur. It amazes me just how much even a small change like wheels make on these cars. I needed to do some playing around to get it back to where it was with the 20's I am pretty much there and while I am slightly off of my overall fast lap I am consistently faster now then I was on the 20's. .

I just ran another stint with the car and I closing in on you ;-).

Cheers,
Jim

I feel the same way, I am usually pretty close on fast lap but I am really far off on this circuit......frustrating but I keep working on it.

I have already designed May's track, significantly different from the current track....I am thinking it will be fun.

Cheers,
Jim

I see that you are using the Eneloop batteries. Have you use the 950mah pro ones? other than running times, I wonder if they are any better/worst

Meridith? Marwan has some spare 51t spurs I’ll send you one! Need anything else?

I couldn’t get 5 laps in with my Focus without rolling earlier (not really sure why it changed because it was pretty good before) so I messed around with the roll center and got it a lot more stable (even though the arms are far from level). I’ll post my newer time a little later

Friday Night Race Night, got laps in on both the GLR and the GLF-1. Making progress on the GLR, different tires all around have it sticking very well. I wish I could switch to a 98mm body but this will do for now. The F-1 is just dialed. Got my personal best lap of 4.05s with it tonight. Best part is I haven't changed a thing for this smaller track. I could take it to the huge local track and run it exactly the same. I noticed the front wheels are coned so I don't think my 1deg knuckles are doing much good at this point. Maybe I should switch to the 0 deg. Vacuumed the track yesterday and it seemed to make things more stable overall.

Video of the F-1

I have not tried the 950’s but I would guess they will be down on power slightly compare to the 800”s.

Jim
