Definitely seems to be the consensus so far for this new buggy. Great job Tekno!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍

Does anyone know if EB410 bodies will fit the EB401.2?

They should. I don't think that there was a new part number for the EB410.2 body. As far as the aftermarket bodies go I am running the Jconcepts F2 body on my EB410.2. I can't speak for the other bodies out there but I wouldn't think that there would be an issue.

As far as I know there aren't any bodies that wouldn't fit. The profile of the chassis didn't change, the differences under the body (swaybar mount) are under pre-existing parts, and having the shocks in the front of the rear arms shouldn't make a difference as the chassis tapers towards the rear of the car.

You may have to trim slightly higher for the rear swaybar to have full range of motion, but that's all I can think of.

Finally finished this thing up. Still have to tweak some things but excited to get it finished. As always, Tekno did a great job with the kit. I love how the do their manual and package everything. Overall just a great experience. Now I can't wait to run.

The .2 comes packed with the new stuff so not much is needed, if you are going to run a fan i recommend you the carbon fiber center diff plate that accomode better the fan from the top (TKR6635C) and if you are running a 25T spindle servo you should grab the alum. servo horn (TKR6563A)

Also check what wheels are you gonna run, if you run losi style wheels you are good to go if you run AE wheels you will need +1 hex hub for the front (TKR1654X)

Which "Losi Style wheels"? The ones for the 22-4?

Picked one of these kits up this weekend and have started the build. So far so good. I did have a question though. According to the Facebook group, if you are running the fan on the top of the motor you need to change the mounting of the fan to the center of the chassis if you are going to run the F2 body. My question is can I use the stock mounting location on the side of the motor with the F2 body without problem?

Thanks in advance.

I think you can, but you have to make openings on the side of the body.

For the jconcepts F2 body the best option is to use their CF center diff plate to mount the fan from the top (JCO2672).

Weekend before last at our NIS race, I ran a et410 and a et410/SCT. Yesterday's club race, ran the eb410.2 for the first time, on the new track layout. Ran great, very similar to the truggy and shortcourse. Watched other vehicles pop ball cups, break arms, strip gears. Nice the eb410.2 is built so strong. I even was a mad person powering on onto the strait, and traction rolled right off the track into the pits. Slammed multiple 4x4 table legs. They tossed me back on the track and hardly missed a beat. But somehow put break cracks in both front AE rims. Car is super fast. Jumps like a dart. Indoor clay.

Wow cracked your front rims
Good to hear that the car kept going w/o issue. I get to run my for the first time this Thurs. Can't wait. A little nervous about running the center spool but I will have the center diff in my toolbox in case it drives horrible lol.

I run indoor clay, and there find the center diff helps the car recover when it gets ugly. Also powers through the corners faster.
