I’ve been doing Mini-Z on large tracks for around 3 years now but only in the winters. Now that I have a Mini-96 track in my house, I can really do it properly.
Thank you for your support!

Cheers

Just updated my time and this will show u that if u can get your average down to a 4.00 to a 3.9 average lap u can make a low 5 min run or even sub 5 min run.
both of my 2wd cars have made sub 5min runs each my awd is struggling to do it I'm right there but the damn thing is tr on me now out of no where. But for u guys that are looking at your times and getting discouraged keep at it look at tero rider. He is starting to have it click in his head and his times keep coming down so keep at it guys

I'm getting ready as my dealer just sent me an email to expect my track in 10 days. While going through rules I have a question, seem like I'll have to join only Pro Stock and Open2WD. I have multiple Open2WD cars (2 EVOs and cooking another GLR). Now to the question, can I do multiple entry for one class?

I have the same situation, with multiple stock, pro stock and open 2wd cars. In the past I just picked one for each class and ran just that car. For January, I have been testing with multiple stock and pro stock cars and need some clarification too. Are the rankings each month by driver or by car in each class? I would guess by driver, but don't want to assume anything. If its by driver, I would report the results for my fastest car. If its by car, and two of my stock cars are the fastest two cars for the month, I would get a first and second place finish in that class, which makes no sense to me. What do you think Jim? This would also impact how results are posted and you are the record keeper...

I see what you guys are getting at, I was just thinking that the driver would be scored and not the car. With that said I personally think it would be interesting to see what a driver can do with different cars in the same class. I plan on working on my Stock Class SWB car to see how competitive I can make it with a new mid-mount 90mm pod but also run my 94mm Stock Car.

I think in the interest of getting more folks on the podium we should score by driver and not by car, but with that said I do not want to limit the number of cars that you run and I think it will be interesting to see the differences between cars that are being driven by the same driver.

Thoughts?

Cheers,
Jim

Agree with scoring by driver in each class for the month, and also with being able to run and report more than one car in each class. For purposes of record keeping, I think it would be easier for you if each driver reports results for multiple cars in same class in the same post, in order of fastest to slowest times...

I got three runs in with my F-430GT Stock car today, and was able to improve on the times of my other 70T cars, to what will likely be my best time in that class for the month of 309.47. I was really hoping to get a sub 5 minute time, but it hasn’t come yet...

I'm getting closer! Just laid down a 5:05.1 followed by a 5:02.9 including a really bad 6.5 second lap, but I'll never touch your 4:53

Smoke’in.....

Nice job, I have some work to do next weekend if I want to be close to you guys. I do have a few new tricks which may help. I am finishing up a new 360GTC body for my 94MM Stock car, it will still be fully detailed but I did try to keep the paint as light as possible and I found an Atomic Lexan window set for it. I have also not ordered any Mini-z parts other than tires in months so I ordered a Reflex Racing Adjustable Upper Suspention Mount to check out.

I am also hoping that that watching the first round of WRC 2020 in Monte Carlo will help and give me that need for speed ;-).

Cheers,
Jim
