I just received my TRF419XR with aluminum chassis that I purchased from a forum member here.
Wow, this thing is so light compared to my TB Evo.7. Quick question, how do I mount the ESC and receiver? With the holes in the chassis, the area for the servo tape is so small.

I stopped using double sided tape. I use E6000 glue instead. You can also use shoe goo or goop. Saves you for having debris picked up by exposed tape

Thanks for all the replies to my noob TRF419XR owner questions. I promise that I am searching prior to asking.
Here is one more... I will be using the aluminum chassis (black carpet) without the center ballast weight - it didn't come with it and I can't find any for sale. My question is, how do I prevent the rear of my Lipo from moving laterally and rubbing against the pinion. Because of all the holes on the aluminum chassis, I can't use 54694 Rubber Anti-Slip Sheet. Is the strapping tape enough to prevent any movement?

this is the link to the ballast weight
https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/7-dig...-weight-42317/
i would still cut strips of the anti slip sheet and place it on areas you can.
with these in place, and battery tape you should be good to go.
a good upgrade would the L shaped battery holders which are not cheap..

Where are you located? I have a center weight left over from my 419x I'd be happy to pass along if the shipping is cheap.

P.S. Anyone interested in some aluminum pulleys and diff housings? No REASONABLE offer will be refused... and I'm very reasonable.
I switched to the 420 Diff housing and I'm not going back to these.
