No just a long phillips head button screw, like the ones on the picture here:

Guys I'm having a problem with the tamiya high torque servo saver includer in the complete aluminum steering for tt02. The servo saver doesn't come back to its neutral position after turning left or right and when you slighty force to move the wheels left or right it will not re center. It will just stay slightly at left if you slighty force it at left and vice versa. Any tips how to solve the problem?

you are most likely missing the washer on the servo saver. Take it apart, make sure all the parts are there.

Either there's something wrong with the servo saver, or you're missing bits in the stack up. What you're describing is not normal for that servo saver.

I found mine was clocked by a fair amount, compared to the stock servo saver. If I moved it either direction on the spline, I'd have to max the trim on the radio gear, to get the car to drive straight.

Went back to the stock servo saver and it only needed a small amount of trim. More investigation needed.

servo is not moving in the video. It's the servo saver itself moving left and right and doesn't re-center itself if forced too much. I tried to install the plastic servo saver included in the kit. It's much better than the high torque servo saver in the steering upgrade kit. It re-centers itself. I will try and order a new high torque servo saver. Seems like the one i got has a problem with the metal spring (small and large).

Try a bit of grease between friction surfaces and don't go gorilla tight on screw. Let thread lock do its job.

Yeah I see your pushing on it with your finger. is it turning on the spline and bolt area where it connects to the servo ?. I was thinking it could be a gear in the servo or just an effed up savor.

The spline is not moving. Maybe a faulty servo saver. Well it's working but not centering very well. Unlike my other tamiya HT servo saver installed in my m05 it centers very well even if you force it.
