ET410 forward shock mount fitting woes


I might be able to install the sway bar into the mount, then install the mount, but to do that you'd have to de-install bunch of other stuff first, and it would make working on the truck harder.

I don't think you have the plastic part of the mount installed correctly? It looks like it should be further back against the mount.

It's a pain because it wasn't designed to have the mount installed there originally. It does fit you just have to do it in a similar process you would the camber link plate.

Yet on my EB, it slides in there without much trouble. I didn't need to disassemble anything to get it in there.

The rear bulkhead and the brace/body mount is exactly the same in both EB and ET...there is no reason it would fit in one and not the other.

Put the bar in place first then the plastic part on top instead of trying to put them both in together.

I see exotek now have +2 and +3 hexes. Would this make running 22T offset wheels a possibility?

I don't think you'll be able to run the Losi wheels even with the +3 hex. The distance from the face of the hex to the inside face of the wheel is a lot more than the distance on the AE wheels, more than 3mm I think.

I believe Exotek says to not run them on the front of the EB, not the ET. The EB uses a shorter stub axle and running a +3 hex would most likely cause you to not have enough threads to secure the wheel. Also there's a good chance that even if you could secure the wheel you'd be over the legal limit for width.

Raced my ET410 for the first time on sunday. This thing is a ton of fun.

Ended up not finishing, a few laps from the end, because a steering link popped off.

I have a beefy servo, so I'm wondering if there's a need to replace/upgrade the steering links to the hubs. Anybody done this?

Or am I overthinking it?

Personally, I run the heavy duty Lunsford Titanium turnbuckles, and b5 ballends. But I may be weird. Also run on my b74, et410sct contraption.

Wanted to say I have been having a blast racing my ET410 lately.
Baby truggy is hooking up using the stock set-up (a bit heavier oil in the rear shocks) running worn-out positrons (S3) on a hard packed dirt track.

This is the second time I've read about this today. I've had massive cartwheels, and hard landings on one wheel/tire...no ball cup failures. I'm wondering if the ball cups were put on backwards?

The Associated B5 ball cups are the "shizzle", but nowhere to be found.

Is there a goto esc/motor combo? Been reading all day and the more confused than when I started. Lol
Also what servo would work with a 4pv?

What do you guys think of reedy 510r an reedy 6.5?
