Looks like Tamiya is giving what most customers want. If they make the C-hub stronger, they'd have a super solid car.

Yeah, I wish, there would be some Tamiya aluminium ones (4/6 degrees) like Exotek.

That is the first thing they should have addressed. Maybe the reason they’re dragging their feet is that they’re creating some over engineered contraption haha

have you tried the Exotek? One hit and they’re done .. aluminium for upright is a bad idea.

The 418 C hub usually breaks in the same area. They just need to modify the design to make it beefier.

My Exotek C-hubs are going on 2 1/2 years. I race on a track that uses 2x4. I haven’t had a problem. But now that I said that I probably jinxed myself. Lol

You must be good at not hitting things or getting hit

My first set bent within the first few runs... so I went back to old school, since back then I was hitting a lot of things. Lol. Guy next to me though was the type to be hit and his went bye bye as well

I agree with you I typically do not use aluminum C- hubs on any of my cars. It was just a last resort.

My saviour has been the x Ray hard foam number. That’s been saving my C Hubs.. it actually like a battle ram.. helps clear the path haha
