I know my tires processes can make some here feel overwhelmed, but we are all free to do whatever we want with our tires, Kevin Hart or not...SXT alone with no other cleaning additives should work very well...Thank you Darkside !!!

The only tire sauce I used is water and it works great just sitting nicely on my car stand ...

Wurth Brake clean to scrub the buildup off. Then sauce with SXT. My tires last almost a whole season. They didn't balloon that badly and stayed consistent.

UV light is not ideal for them: it is a well documented issue...Rc car tips leaves his tires inside a broken down refrigerator: maybe you should PM him for the correct explanation.....

There's minimal UV light from commercial lamps. As long as they're not sitting in direct sunlight, you don't need a light proof container.

At least they aren't nearly as expensive as vta tires. For the price, I just replace mine after 4-5 race days. To the guys that give the facepalms and smart ass comments just for us bringing up tire problems, why even comment? Some of us are new to onroad racing and if we are doing something wrong, we'd like to get some actual advice from more experienced guys on what to do. It doesn't help being a pretentious f***wit. Just my honest opinion as a guy who only started on-road about a year ago, take it for what it's worth...

For what it's worth I run USGT on asphalt tracks. My buddy and I have tried every combination of tires and saucing (New tires, old tires, and many sauces). It has gotten so expensive that I think I will race modified for the next State Series. The tire wear will be about the same.

My team just won a 500 lap enduro race. We used USGT bodies, a 21.5T motor and Solaris tires. The tires lasted 500 laps. These tires are clearly superior to the USGT tires. A long time ago we used to run 21.5 TC with Solaris tires, but this was cancelled as a hand out motor class was instituted (Great class). My point here is that USGT is a great class, but because of the wear, the class is more expensive. I run at several tracks and depending on the track I can use used Solaris tires and there will not be a drop off on lap times. Hence, more affordable racing. FYI, I spend a lot of money on racing and will never cheap out if it affects performance....

Are the Solaris tires with a tread like the GT tires or are they smooth rubber like TC tires?
