Reinstalling the original firmware ( V3.1) sees reset and calibration successful, and ESC works fine. Then downloaded a fresh copy of V5.4, also tried V4.7 to test my theory, with same results. Will not work on new firmware, but reinstalling old firmware it works just fine.
It looks like you have downloaded the Firmware of the old Flow.
The correct Firmware should be FlowX 5.2
You can download it frm LRP.CC

I'll check the file, but I believed it was the correct file as it had an 'lrp2' prefix.

So, reworked it this evening. Confirmed that the firmware I had installed prior was indeed correct but deleted and downloaded new copy anyway.
Installed new firmware, took multiple attempts to get reset to effect. Was then able to calibrate. ESC works fine. Switched off, came back later and switched back on. Solid blue light, no response.
Reloaded original firmware, everything works perfect first time.

Thoroughly confused and frustrated!

after installing the new firmware don't reset it just re-calibrate the ESC.

Exactly the same problem here except mine was a TC on 4.1, went to 5.2 solid blue light, corrupted, went back to 4.1 esc works fine. Now they've gone bust. Game over unless someone here knows a fix.

i hv always wonder why the same unit of FlowX preloaded with different firmware is sold at different price.
I hv found that in general, FlowX preloaded with off road firmware is the cheapest relatively.
Now, if yiu cannot change the preloaded firmware, this explained the price different.

I have a brand new 3 day old flow x tc spec that has never been run because i'm having issues during calibration. I hold down the set key and the green light comes on but when depressed it goes back to solid blue, eventually it will calibrate but when turned off and back on it has lost calibration and there is a solid blue light again. Have tried 2 motors and 4 sensor cables but nothing helps.

I am on the X20 13.5t motor.

I read somewhere the timing tabs can be installed in reversed to get higher timing. Anyone knows the exact/updated/new timing value if it is in installed in reversed?

Just updated the new 4.2 software for the TC. Is it just me or is the brakes better?
