It drives great, just like the truggy. Much more stable on bumpy ground at high speed where I drive it. It seems front heavy though, likes to nose dive. I had the battery all the way forward when it was the stock length so I'll move it the whopping 1cm i can toward the back and see what happens

I'm planning on making this a "true" 1/8 truck by extending it with the ET48 chassis. For anyone that's done it are these the only parts I need...
- ET48 chassis
- ET48 chassis brace set
- ET48 rear centre driveshaft
- Bodyshell, I was thinking of the HPI Gigante body. It's wheelbase is 360mm, the ET48's is 380mm. The overall length is 545mm, width is 203mm

I finished my kit built tonight! Picture attached, I can't inline images until I have ten posts.
I still need to paint and mount my body ('17 Raptor) - Going to try to do it tomorrow. Going with race red for the whole body, and black for the vent and bed. It's the exact same paint job IHasRC put on his MT410, but it's also the colors on my daily driver '01 Ford Lightning

I'm considering using the Pro-Line mounts (already have the replacement kit with just the grub screws and caps) drilled and tapped into the stock body posts for now, then ordering the actual SCT410 mount kit from eBay just to have in case I mess up the drilling/tapping or it breaks from being too thin after.
I wound up buying the Tekin 1700kV combo. I have a good time soldering, it's like mini welding
I'll have to send back my 14T pinion, don't know why I thought it would fit. I was finishing up my build tonight and noticed the manual even said 15T was as small as you can go. I went ahead and ordered a 15T tonight.
Looks like a nice upgrade, I need to pick them up.
Who makes those socks on your springs?

If you know you want the longer wheelbase before you buy,go with an ET48.

You can mount a 10th scale body on the ET mounts. Just have trim a little off the back end.

Got another body painted up for this truck. I'd love to figure out a way to not trash the rear end of these bodies so quickly.
BTW, for anyone that is using rattle cans for paint, Tamiya is the only paint I will use anymore. It always turns out excellent, even with mediocre skills.

There's nothing wrong with the wheels at all. I have them on my ET48 also and they're an excellent cheaper option than Proline
