The only negative effect is only having about 90% of the battery capacity

My charger is a ProTecRC Prodigy66 that charges both LiPo and LiHV.

I routinely alternate the charge on my 2s x 4600 'shorty' LiHV between 8.4V or 8.6V, depending on which truck I am running. 17.5 ST's get the LiHV charged to 8.4v on the LiPo setting. 21.5 ST's get the LiHV charged to 8.6v on the LiHV setting. To date no problems with any of my power units - HobbyWing, Maclan, Reedy or Novak.

This is in accordance with the rules package for my backyard track. Check with your local race track for authorized pack voltages.

Cheers. 'AC'
