If you are still having problems diffing out in corners you can add these to the inside ring on the spur. Just be sure the diff ring has no grease where the pegs touch.

I'm having trouble understanding this. Do I used these in place of the diff balls? Using them in conjunction with the diff balls in some way?

Mine diffs out in tighter turns pretty bad.

Run the balls in the outer holes and pins in the inner row of holes on the spur gear. You must use the standard diff rings and not the light weight ones.

Should the pins be the same length as the diff ball diameter or slightly longer/shorter?

Put my F103GT Courage back together with some updates. Turned that sucker on and it sounded like the poor old servo actually cried in pain. I'll get a cheapo just to play around with since I wont be racing it.

Here's a pic of my new to me CRC WTF1 FC16. New body, front and rear wings and wheels/tires. Working on minimizing the diff action. Gonna install friction pegs tonight and test it tomorrow.

Switch to a 16 ball spur while you are at it. More surface area doesn't hurt.

I ran oval at Banana RC last sunday. F1 on the oval was a blast. Hadn't run the carpet cars since the Tyler track shutdown.
