I'd have to measure, but I wonder if these would fit as well?

Only reason I mention it as I have spares of these until I sell the buggy!

There is definitely a chance as long as the measurements are at least close. Any slop can probably be remedied easily with some shims

nice find, thanks!

It's just a matter of time before the OFNA parts eventually dry up. When they do, it's worth noting that the OEM is HoBao for these parts and there is a USA Distributor now:
11259 MINI ST 3*35mm REAR ARM SHAFT | HoBao Enterprising

As luck will have it, I happen to own the Hyper10TT which shares common parts and can confirm a perfect fit with no slop and no extra spacers required

A fella on the EB410 FB group found these in his tool box and gave them a try in which he advised the fit was perfect and functioned excellent. Not sure he is on RCTECH thus I had to share with the group.

You may want to try them out. Well worth trying if the are 3mm. If not the OFNA/HOBaO 3mm by 35 are a perfect fit and under $3.00 for two at NitroHouse

I'm measuring an increase of 0.4g per side of un-sprung weight after making this modification, seems negligible and worth it to me.

*** I also used a 3.05mm reamer (Kyosho) chucked into my drill to bore out the captured end of the arm

Anyone try out the raceform lexan towers, notice any improvement over stock or cf? After replacing a glitchy receiver, I’ve been able to run mine for a couple of race nights, nothing broken yet. Pretty much stock with box stock setup. Good job on this one Tekno!

I’m not sure who does the wiki updates but I think this company should be added to the drill bit for piston part cause you can get both sets already mentioned but at one store and pricing and shipping was crazy good and they have a ton of other tools for us rc tinkering nuts

anybody can update the wiki, that's the point of a collaborative page, however I'm not seeing any bits in the 2.0mm - 3.0mm range, if you can post a link to that comparable set, I'd be happy to update the wiki, I realize it can be a little intimidating for some who might not be comfortable with the embedded tagging format.

I saw this mentioned a while back but not sure someone included a link or not. Here is the drill bit set that I used for the 2.0 piston mod. I happen to have a Harbor Freight less than 5 minutes from my house.

I've added it, but not really sure how helpful this set will be... the usable bits range from 1.8 - 2.0 - 2.35 - 3.0

Normally, folks like to jump in 0.1mm increments and these are the types of sets that most folks are gonna be interested in buying, i.e. Ryan Lutz's setup sheet calls for a 2.1mm bit, so that's what I would personally like to see included in a set that I would consider buying.

Ok , I bought it just to try the 2.0mm. Was the right price at $3.99

You guys put the piston on the shaft, then drill? Or, hold it? Any tips on that perspective?
