Hi, I have a Nikko 1/10 R34 drift car that I have lost the battery and controller to. I realize that Nikko is probably different from actual hobby grade cars, but the chassis and body is just so awesome I wanted to convert it to run with a new battery and transmitter. The problem is that I'm not sure it will work with hobby grade stuff. Does anyone know what I can do to get it going again? Thanks! Info: 27 MHz 3 channels

Regarding that trim knob under the chassis I think it is coil servo, probably switching between 3 positions.
I think to make it work you have to rip it all out and mount a servo, ESC and a receiver. Maybe you can find a used electronic set from a Mini-T, when you convert a mini-T to brushless all have to be taken out.....
