Futaba 7PX

I love the 3D trigger on the KO Propo. Really wish Futaba would do something similar, but I'm sure there's some copyright / patent issue to contend with.
As far as the 7PX goes, I think it's overkill for racers. We need, at most, 3 channels. Now, for scalers, crawlers, etc...., that need to control a bunch of discreet functions, or mix multiple channels together, this might be awesome.
For the rest of us, the 4PX is still more than enough.
Heck, I've still got my 10 year old 4PK....it's the radio I keep in the house for using on VRC Pro.

Main question from the stickdrivers: Will there be a stick version of this or even the 4PX transmitter?
The 4GRS is a nice transmitter with all the functions but with the weird and simple LCD screen not that professional look.

I have a friend who still has a Magnum, with all the pots on the front for adjustments.
And another buddy who owns a hobby shop still has his stick radio, with the slot car controller conversion.
It's amazing how far this stuff has come.

See Futaba is smart. They KNOW us racers will buy the latest and greatest. We might B and moan for a little while but ultimately...then they took it one step further. See, if it was just for the touchscreen, I personally wouldn't really care. I run Spektrum for my nitro cars and the 6R while cool, wouldn't be worth the extra coin to upgrade from say the 4R (I upgraded from a DX4C so yes it was worthwhile for the 5.5ms). But Futaba in all their marketing wisdom, drops a big old SR at the end of the name. SUPER RESPONSE! This and a new R324SBS 4-channel multi-antenna diversity receiver. You KNOW you want that because it's the only reason you're not winning right now.
Seriously though, with today's tech I'll bet that a software upgrade would allow the 4PX to utilize the new tech. Will they do it and rely on the touchscreen to sell it? Doubt it but us 4PX owners can be hopeful right? I foresee a lot of R304sb's coming up on Ebay soon.
