Default viper esc calibration

I have a viper vtx10 I bought from a member here a few months ago and had never used it , so I go to try to put it in my car and wen I turn the esc on it just keeps beeping wont got to calibration mode like the instruction say by holding the button , any ideas? or do I just have a paperweight

It's possible you'll need to rebind the receiver. Or check that your throttle trim is set to neutral

I checked trim its at neutral and tried rebinding steering works but that's it

I'd try looking at the manual but I can't find it online. Does yours have any diagnostic tips like beep codes?

Otherwise maybe you could try hooking it up to a program card if you have/can find one and update it's firmware, but it may be a bit difficult to find the updates.

I'd also try resoldering as a last resort.

Try very lightly moving the trigger forward and back. It sounds like the ESC can't find neutral.

thanks I got it now , I wasn't pressing the button quick enough after startup lol
