Hi All

I have recently acquired a brand new 2008 NT1.
It needs all the fittings to run (motor, pipe, body, electronics, etc...)

Few questions for you all:
1) for the motor, would a .21 buggy engine fit? Or should I stick with some .12 or .15 OS, Pico, or Novarossi?
2) should I update parts to the 2012 or newer NT1 spec? How interchangeable are the parts? Can I put on those flashy orange parts found on the newer models?
3) anyone try to do brushless conversion? Worth it with any success? Or waste of time?

I'm considering selling this car also once I set it up. It's never seen a track or even had tires on it. Brand new condition right out of the box.

Thanks!

Any rumours about Nt1 '17? Is that real or somebody is kidding me?

Usually Xray releases a new model in April so would expect new 2017 to be announced prior to then. This is in Xray DNA so it is to be expected although may not be a major update just like the 2016 model.

I agree and know that the team had tested different parts at the worlds that will most likely end up in the nt1 17.

Nothing more than that. Somebody told me that '17 version is coming up.
Since my '13 needs a retirement, I was wondering to buy the newest possible version.
If new one is launched in April as usual, unfortunately the season already begun so that means that I'm forced to start with my old baby.

Or to change the brand...

This year the release of t4 was anticipated, so should also anticipate the release of nt1, which historically was in February or March ...

1) Only .12 engines.
2) Maybe the cost will be too high because many parts have been updated.
3) I've seen it, but I do not recommend it ... If you want to drive an electric car, you'd better buy an Xray T4

In the front I prefer to use the blade in 90º (harder) ... It works very well!

Questions?? NT1 SERVOS

I'm new to nitro onroad, and I'm currently building my NT1..

Need your help deciding what ST and TH Servos to get.

Basically I was wondering if I needed any low profile?

For Steering --> do I need more Torque?

For Throttle --> do I need more Speed?

Hello

The throttle servo you can go low profile and are then able to lower the servo a little on the radio tray. For steering I would get a standard size.

You should be pretty right with any of the major brands (eg Futaba, Sanwa, KO etc).

For throttle you still need a little torque so it has enough strength to get enough brakes.
