I hope that there are some Aussies and Kiwis who monitor this thread. I've been a fan of the V8 Supercar series for years and I'm wanting to find a Falcon or Commodore to do a Frosty car or something similar. Are there V8 Supercar bodies out there in 1/10 scale? I do know about the one pre-painted Holden by (I believe) Protoform that is on Ebay. Any others?

Yes there are some of us monitoring this thread, and probably Frewer Racing would be your best chance of finding something suitable.

http://www.frewerracing.com/index.htm

I've been thinking of trying to get a GT class going at a club level, mainly using GT2 & GT3 bodies, along with possibly a control motor of either 17.5 or 13.5 turns, and fixed fdr to try and keep racing close, scale realistic, & inexpensive.

Regards
Rob.

Just curious, how long has USGT been using 1380g minimum weight?

The weight for VTA is now 1450g now and USGT 1380g.
That is the only changes that I could find.

I could not find the 6000 mah VTA rule listed. The PDF I read still had 5000 listed.

25.5 brushless with 2C LiPo: Novak SS25.5 Pro brushless motor (pn:3425V) or Ballistic 25.5
(pn:3625V*stator only pn:S6625) Club (pn:3331) or Boss (pn:3626V) ONLY combined with any
hard*cased 2C 7.4v LiPo pack up to and including 5000 mAh capacity. Novak motors are the
ONLY motor allowed at this time.

Looks like they listed the rule twice once @ 5000 then again @ 6000

Rob,

What about Tamiya's Audi R8 (84298)? Didn't see it on the list? I've been running it for years. Is the list only for current, in production, available bodies? I know that this body is discontinued. Just curious.

Rules effective 8-1-16.

Does that mean we can or cant change the min weight yet? The lighter weight now may be easier on tire wear for those that race on the asphalt.
