If the unit is tipped upside down the mode button falls further then the set button, (don't know if that is something) Little stumped with this one. I do have a spare should this have to go to LRP, just thought that there might be something I'm missing.
If it's still under warrant then well worth it to see if it's covered,if not they are simple to take apart, just need a small enough screwdriver,it's more the button on the board that sticks,if you do strip it down, see if the little black button on the board clicks.

If I am going to run 13.5t boosted, should I go for 4.7 or 5.4? I am getting sort of confused now.

No matter what you do with the settings when using the 5.4 firmware in 13.5 boosted you can't make it have a linear feel through the range, if you put it on a stand and test it you will see what I mean, obviously not using full power!

The flow is very smooth when matched with LRP X12 or X20 motors

Yes that is what I am feeling now. I am now running 5.4 with the x20 13.5. So I guess I should just give 4.7 a try this weekend.

If you pm me your email I can send you the V5 Firmware which is what all the team drivers here seem to use, wish I would of known this when I got mine, have since switched back to Hobbywing but miss the braking feel on the LRP so may give one another go with the right Firmware on

Yes, used a LRP one. Larger for Mod. Positive to Postive, Negative to Negative. No issues.

Which capacitor are you using? Are you using the option which is offered by LRP?

I personally us this one from Muchmore now. It's cheaper and easier to mount to the side of the ESC. The wires are also thicker:

Hi guys,

I just tried to flash my flow works team to mod firmware. I left everything alone while it was updating, but it failed part way through. I came back to this message and now it won't reconnect. Is there anything I can try?
