so there truggy is all complete but i ran into two issues. im new to electric so its difficult for me.
1) for some reason my servo wire isn't long enough to reach to the radio box. on everyone else et48 it reaches no problem.
2) I feel like the battery straps are WAY to long and i wouldn't have a good Velcro grip, are their smaller straps?

I run Spektrum servos as well and the servo lead is too short for Tekno vehicles. Use a short 3" servo lead extension and you are all set.
The battery straps are long, but when you get a hard case 4s battery, they work and hold well.
Also, ditch the plastic servo horn. Get a Tekno alu horn, they work great and are strong. The big truggy tires will strip that horn quickly in a crash.

Ok, my Truggy Gurus......I am planning on running a Tekin RX8 with a 1350Kv motor on SMC 6V 4300mah. I always wanted to run 6V in my buggy but didn't because of ROAR. I do not plan on running ROAR with the Truggy. I hope this will be a good combination. What pinion do you guys recommend? The track I will be running , Thornhill, is the largest track in North America.

I believe this is the only ET48 thread. Not a huge difference between the ET48 and the ET48.3 anyways.

Cool.
This doesn't seem to be a very popular e-truggy, should that concern me in any way (parts availability?)? I'm seeing tons of Losi parts on ebay (duh) and worried that parts will be difficult to obtain few years from now (I'm not a racer who needs the latest and greatest, so I might keep this one for 5-10 years).

I would not be concerned about parts availability.
My truggy is one of the most fun RC's I own.

I have a question about my shocks and if I have them setup right. I think I just have the springs on it that came in the kit (green). But when I set the truck on the bench there is no droop... like the truck doesn't settle/sag and the shocks don't compress at all like my 10th scale buggies. I have the same issue with my EB48.2. Is that normal or should it compress some when its set down? Do I need to just get lighter springs maybe?

No I did not team the Arms. On the et or the eb. But I didn't do that on my 10th scales either and those droop some when set down. What size reamer do you use on the truggy? 4mm? I am in the process of ordering all new tools and I was looking at the 3 and 4mm reamers. What about oil weight piston and springs? What should I be running for all that? Right now everything is straight oout of the box
