Tamiya mini cooper
Indeed. I like the scale look of the Tamiya Rover Mini bodies on my m-chassis for sure.
but would not want to race with them.
I take care of my Minicooper bodies by putting clearbra over the head lamp and surround decal so that I can replace the damaged clearbra vs having scuffed lamps just in case I scrape the wall.

Before I split my chassis I wanted to double check with you guys. I think I read this a few pages back. The only way to tighten up the TA03 diff is to add shims to the the bolt? I need more of a limited slip action out of it.
You can also play with the orientation of the belleville washers to get a stiffer spring action - >>> is stiffer than ><>. But you may also need shims to get the feel right.
Yep, but be very careful you don't over tighten it because the thread will strip pretty easily. I've broken a few this way already. At least with the M05 diff, you can easily replace the generic holder and nut (and screw) but on the TA03 diff you'll have to basically get a new set unless you can find just the pressure plate or that screw. GL!
If yours break, I recommend you try the monkeyracing diff or just get some oil gear diffs.

On the TA03 diff, I think I got maybe 4-5 tightenings before it stripped.
Extra shims here.
Do Sweep tires and inserts fit the Tamiya Rover Mini wheels?
I want to try these tires on my track. I've had good luck with 25 degrees on my MiniZ's.

LOL'ed at knock-off TE37's.
But looks good. They dust as bad as foam tires though.
I think I'm going back to the generic Tamiya kit tires for 55D..
