I have enough travel and overall length, and more than enough droop.

What I need to work on is integrating it to my V2 with its completely different damping characteristic vs the CVA. I need to reduce rear traction first and foremost. Will play with rear camber next. What I want to do is lessen the
inward tilt of the tops of the front dampers..

Reduced rear neg camber and added .5mm front spacers to wheels.

Yeah, no, what I meant was it is a popular cleaner to wash engine bays with for a lot of car enthusiasts so just thought you'd at least heard the name. That's all.

I have a spray bottle hanging from my detailing cart in my garage.

Simple Green might not be available in Canada!

Newbie try the brakecleen. I've never used it, What we do is take a papertowel, fold
It several times over and spray the paper towel a couple of spritzes and then just wipe the crude build up off til no more is on the tire.
You should see a bunch of gunk coming off the tire onto the paper towel as you clean it

Yeah, but my car buddies in Canada know Simple Green. Anyway some brake cleaners leave behind residue, so I would test it on an old tire first. I know cause I work on brakes on my real cars too.

Got the #54000 to work on my V2. I dont know but mine has plenty of travel
No issue with short damper housing. Just needed alignment adjustment on the rear, some height, rake adjustments.

Red #200 oil with red springs front
Yellow #400 oil with blue springs rear

Like I said, if I say white, you'll say black. The reason the 54000 don't work, especially in your application, has nothing to do with the amount of travel. I explained it awhile back. But you're a smart guy, you'll figure it out.

Yep, I think I already did. Runs as well as it did with the factory CVA's, but with ease of coilover adjustments and smoother overall damping. I think they are the same units that came with my M-Four.

Brake cleaner and simple green might dry the tire too much. The SXT tire cleaner works best for me...

Nice. I think if you do use Simple Green people either spray off the product with water thoroughly before drying. At least I would do that if I was to use Simple Green.

We tried the sxt and found it doesn't work well on the different surfaces we run on
Actually straight simple green works best when we run at the beach track and contact
cleaner best on the asphalt tracks. I've seen guys using lighter fluid also, but haven't
Tried it, I guess im afraid I'll light myself up

Raced on asphalt for the first time today. M-05, Xevo and a variety of motors. I broke so much stuff! Destroyed tires, tiny rocks got into the gears, cracked 05 chassis, broke outer shock mount on Xevo. The 05 with a cranked 10.5 mod motor was a hoot. So fast on the 100' straight. It's the first time I noticed aero making a difference in mini. Wow!

If the 54000s don't work with the V2 what Tamiya shocks do? Sorry if it's already been said.

From my experiment they work fine. The damping is completely different so some trial and error needed.

If you're worried, get the CVA Super Mini set. They come in pairs, springs sold separately. They are just black housing vs the V2's clear.
