That will happen if you land on the back end and lid a lot. The towers are just stamped aluminum, nothing too special. Im sure if the demand was warranted to Tekno, they would get the machined towers made for the truck, but then youd be adding about $50 to the cost of the kit. The kit materials are there to make it more cost effective.

how thick are the stamped towers? To be honest when I had the OG 410 it looked like you could darn near put two towers together and just bolt up if the other bolts were long enough.

What's the best $60 Servo to put in these? I bought a Turnigy TS920 and its fast, but after 5 races & some hard landings... It's got slop in it already.

I don't know what Servo to buy? I'd like a .08 or .10 for $60. HiTec? Spectrum? Savox?

Idk if it would have enough torque for you in one of these but the spektrum s6040 fits your speed and price specs...

not sure if amain has any discounts right now, but I have heard that the Protek 130T servo is good and its specs look fast and high torque.

Anyone have any opinion on the spectrum 6040 servo? I got a great deal a few weeks ago on a brand new 410.3 with a Tekin pro4/rx8 setup. Came with this servo. Bought a glitch buster as it was aittle noisy. The 23 tooth metal servo born looks a little small and seems to be angled upward. In any event, does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations with this servo?

Idk... All I know is that I was lucky I had one deep in my box so I could run.....it's a good servo... It's the most quiet servo I've had.... It doesn't chirp at all.....

While it has great speed and torque ratings for car racing it IS a helicopter servo..... It says it in the name.....while I do think it would work well in this car..... It is a heli servo
