so if I am seeing this correctly, you have a wire bundle that moves with the rear pod, and it doesn't seem like there is an additional loop between the battery and motor.

this would seem pretty free in roll, but what moves when the shock compresses?

Nice looking car. However, having esc right at the center of car under a cf plate will be a dangerous idea in my local track , we run 4.0t turbo at outdoor asphalt track as hot as 55 degree Celsius on the ground. Heat is the major issue here.

There's excess wire under the shock, and the motor

Well there is about .5mm of chassis under the esc. Not sure if that helps?

The best replacement shock for almost all 1/12
I just received and installed my new Team Prime shock on my 12R5. Very nice piece and installed smoothly. I know my AE springs will work with this shock, but I'm curious if anyone knows what the specs are on the spring that it came with. It's black, and feels a bit softer than the AE blue spring I usually run. The instructions are in another language and I can't find any info online.

I know the springs they sell by themselves are black with a spot of color at one end to identify them. Is your spring solid black or is there a color on it?

Hi Wes, the stock spring is a Prime Spring. It is around an 8lb spring or so.

I don't recall seeing a color when I built it, but I'll check when I get home. Thank you very much for pointing this out.

As usual Edward, nice reviews!

I'll get some TKO diff rings soon, and if I am correct I don't need to sand them right out of the box? Just put them on my diff and ride?

Thanks,
G-rem

I'll try to keep the reviews coming

TKO differential rings = no sanding
