Anyone have suggestions with R1 21.5 premium motor-gearing and timing? I tried from 3.8 to 3.2 final gearing and played with timing but motor never got above 120 deg. I did feel some fade after a couple of laps at 3.2 but motor didn't get hot. Ended up at 3.8 and 40 deg timing for the main. Motor came off at 110. I have a 30mm fan on the motor too. Thanks.
Last he told me it was 3.67FDR 20Timing
you can't gear just on temp, especially when our track will be 160F+ soon
gear so it is fully wound out before the last light post ish
Also speed and FADE are also about battery big time....

My Ferrari 458 is almost done. I really like the lines of the car (especially since the series I run here in TX doesn't allow the Daytona Prototype bodies) but the interlocking jigsaw puzzle-like decals that Tamiya provides suck
particularly because you have to cut them out by hand. The color of a Ferrari IMO should project attitude and the picture doesn't really capture the true attitude of that yellow. At least it should be very easy to see on a bright sunny day.

Just run what Scotty runs, he has fast lap and his motor doesn't fade

EOS (Electric On-road Series). I live in Floresville, just South of San Antonio. PS I just updated my profile to include where I live - it wasn't there when you sent your post
