With a 2000kva I run a 17 in a medium size track and it is ridiculously fast.
As Porty mentioned, keep track of temps and you'll see if you can go higher.

yeah, you almost want to have a different motor on hand for large versus medium to small tracks at times.

I did the same thing and I think it will be a great mod to do on Tekno cars, because they all have the center diff in rear position.
Pictures of the mod on my old Tekno V4 kit :

After this mod, the body remain in good condition for a long time, because the body posts are not on the rear drive train (rear shock tower).

Bye !
My kit should arrive today and I definitely will try to replicate this mod very nice work by the way! Any chance you would post more pictures with details on what parts were used, especially the carbon fiber center diff brace!

Thanks,

Thanks,
Eric, that's a Tekno V4 conversion on a AE RC8, the diff brace wont help you.
Also there's about 3" or more between the rear of the diff to the rear body mounts so you would need to come up with a little different solution for the ET48.

Thanks Joe, I guess elongated holes will have to do...

Hey.
I'm going to buy engine and ESC.
I choosed that: Xerun 150A and Leopard 4274. It will be for bashing, I dont want to spend 400$ on engine and ESC.
Is it ok? Or should I pay some more to get Mamba or sth like that?

Hi suzukipro,

It has been said by jmcelroy42, it's a Tekno V4 kit on Asso RC8.
I don't have the ET48 kit so I can't check the best place for the body posts.
It was just an example, you can make a mod with many other parts.
I used Traxxas body posts, if you need the ref, I can find them.
Bye !

Should be fine, I run Hobbywing ESC's and motors in almost all my racers.
